EMS-2003C is an intelligent metal magnetic memory eddy current tester, which is a new generation of non-destructive testing (NDT) instrument.




1. It has advanced microelectronics, computer, magnetic memory and digital eddy current testing technology. Experiments show that the normalization of magnetic domains occurs in the position of defects and inclusions in the ferromagnetic components in use under the action of substitution loading, and a magnetic leakage field is generated on them.

2. Where the defects or internal stresses are relatively concentrated, the metal permeability has the minimum value and the tangent component of the magnetic field has the maximum value. Therefore, the sign of the normal component changes. The value of the normal component is zero and the stress concentration area can be located by detecting the normal component of the leakage magnetic field on the surface.

3. In this way, it can be indirectly determined whether the workpiece is defective or not. In addition to the metal magnetic memory testing function, the instrument also has the function of digital eddy current testing. It can test the corrosion resistance coating of welding, the crack of workpiece and the depth of crack.
