2. The K-factor is a general measure of the harmonic heating effect, especially for harmonics on transformers. It not only emphasizes the harmonic frequency, but also emphasizes the harmonic order, harmonic spectrum distribution and spectrum ratio. K-factor transformer standard specifications There are K-4, K-13, K-20, K-30, etc.; K-13 is a common rating for office load and general machine room load, K-20 tends to special computer load, IT data center and power quality Sensitive device PDU (Power Distribution Unit), etc. The K-factor transformer is designed to control the harmonic thermal effect. Specially designed products can filter out the triple harmonics. Products with a dual output phase difference of 30 degrees can filter out the five, seven, seventeen, and nineteenth harmonics. .

3. K-factor transformers are generally prohibited from using low-temperature conductors such as wire-wrapped wires in the selection of materials. Enamelled copper wires or NOMAX copper wires above 180 °C should be used to prevent wires from being caused by higher harmonics as much as possible. The internal skin effect produces local high temperature damage to the insulating layer, causing insulation breakdown to damage the transformer. The K-factor transformer is designed to minimize the thermal effect, which can be achieved by optimizing the coil design, the thickness-to-width ratio of the wire gauge, and the number of coils connected in parallel. K-factor transformer design impedance must choose the appropriate impedance value, use low-loss ultra-thin silicon steel sheet and the magnetic density should be lower than the design value of ordinary transformer, the process can strengthen the structural strength, reduce the thermal effect damage of the transformer zero-sequence current at the neutral point. , high frequency thermal add-on effect and thermal add-on effect of the output side winding.
