High frequency capacitor is a high voltage capacitor that can operate in high frequency environment above 1KHZ or in pulse frequency environment for a long time.
There are usually two kinds of high frequency capacitors: one is high frequency capacitors, mainly high frequency circuits represented by non-destructive testing, X-ray machine and CT machine. The general frequency is between 20 KHZ and 200 KHZ. This kind of capacitors generally use FC medium, Y5T medium and N4700 medium. Among them, FC medium is the most stable, because the TC change rate of FC is relatively stable.
The other is pulse capacitor, which is usually PC medium, SF medium and N4700 medium. Among them, the capacitor with PC medium has the longest pulse life, followed by SF and N4700 medium, which is slightly worse. The same 50 KV 2000PF capacitor, if it works in air at 30 KV voltage, after aging test, the pulse life of PC capacitor exceeds 3 million times, the pulse life of SF is about 1 million times, while that of N4700 medium is high. Piezoelectric capacitors have a life of about 50,000 times.
